A continuous curved facade wraps the building mass, reducing visual rigidity and creating a more approachable profile appropiate for a healthcare facility. Integrated within the facade system is a custom developed ” H ” symbol, designed specifically for Hermina Hospital. Rther than functionating as applied signage, the symbol is embedded into the facade angles while introducting depth, rhytm, and pattern to the building envelope.
